SRD SASSA R350 status and payment date for January 2023 is available the (SASSA)  South African Social Security Agency grant beneficiaries can collect their grants from the South African Post Office, besides the R350 SRD.

WHAT ARE THE January GRANT PAYMENT DATES?

Grants for older people, disabled people, and children will begin to be paid on the third day of next month. Grants will begin to be paid on Monday, 3 January. Older people will receive their grants first, followed by others.

SASSA payment dates for the month of January are as follow

  • Older Person’s Grants: 03 January 2023
  • Disability Grants: 04 January 2023
  • All Other Grants: 05 January 2023

Once the applicants submit their SRD applications, SASSA will begin the verification process. In SASSA speak, this process is referred to as VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION.

Data from the Department of Home Affairs will be used to verify your name, surname, and ID number. UIF, SARS, and NSFAS databases will be matched with the ID number. Depending on the results of the verification, your application will either be approved or declined with a reason.
